Born and raised in Jackson,Tn, Mark is the founder and CEO of Glory Athletic Arts. Mark got his start coaching at Golden Circle Gymnastics under the late great Don Kirton in 1995. He developed his technical expertise as a coach under the tutelage of Larry Allen Denham at the Tennessee Academy of gymnastics in Chattanooga. Mark founded Glory in 2012 and took sole ownership in 2022. Mark has over 20 years of professional gymnastics coaching experience and is a beloved coach in the Regional Mens and womens professional gymnastics community. He is USAG safety and Safe sport certified, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue belt, he is a former USAG TN gymnastics state board member 2019-2022, and has coached countless mens and women’s state and regional champions. Glory is the most trusted gymnastics and child activity center in the Jackson Area .It has proven to be the center for Jacksons emerging athletic artists.

Melissa Hurt was born and raised right here in Jackson TN. Melissa is a mother of 2. Sophie (8) is a competitive gymnast and Kaden (14) is a jujitsu fighter. She was one of the original Gold Circle Gymnastics Womens team members under the legendary Don Kirton. Melissa started gymnastics at age 3 and continued through the age of 14 as a level 10 gymnast. “My first coaching experience was as a kids soccer coach in Medina Tn where I discovered my love for teaching kids. I have been coaching team gymnastics for over 3 years now and I love my job! I love helping kids reach their full potential, helping them over come obstacles, teaching them how to push through hard challenges and to never give up! Gymnastics is full of life lessons, it’s not just a sport! I look forward to coaching for many many more years.
